I think this is a virus, especially since task manager isn't working.

Task manager will not open under any circumstances, and I can't even run a program to check for viruses because the computer will freeze before I can download the program from Microsoft windows. Now programs won't work for more than a few seconds before freezing. This Valentine's Day, I woke up to find a brand new brick where my laptop used to be.
